Introducing Unicom Solutions Pocket Invoice, developed to minimise time and maximise cash flow. This software was developed for all field related work that requires producing an invoice, purchase order or requestion while on the road. The key feature is Pocket Invoice returns the information OTA back to the server for instant processing.

Pocket Invoice provides your sales team wireless access to your networks databases, inventory systems, accounting systems, pricing systems or any other critical information stored on your office network, with real time access while on the move.

Unicom Solutions first application developed for the wireless technology. Pocket Invoice has been a popular application for field workers as well as tradesmen and sales teams. From this application we continued with R&D to provide a wide range of Mobility Solutions that we can offer today.

The Pocket Invoice was designed to speed up the transaction between field staff and head office.  The Pocket Invoice application increases the efficiency and reduces the time factor for all transactions out on the field to be integrated directly with head office.  By utilising the wireless technology available to us today the Pocket Invoice is able to do real-time transactions and provide a darker stream between the field personnel and head office. Unicom Solutions has provided an engine that aggressively utilises the 3G network which provides speed and high-performance data transmission.  Not only do we provide a darker stream between field and head office but also provide a security level with encryption between the staff member and head office.

Pocket Invoice Versions

The Pocket Invoice has been designed in two versions. The first version is the SMB market which is basically designed for the self-employed or for a business that is predominantly on the road or travelling between customers.  This level targets industries such as plumbers, electricians, builders, carpenters, handyman, gardeners and many other businesses that relate to outdoor type work or travelling between customers.  These types of industries usually provided a written invoice which then has to be re-entered into the accounting system once their day is finished. With the Pocket Invoice there is no longer that tedious task of re-entering any of the invoices once the day is done. Upon the completion of the last job, their day is finished as the pocket invoice would have integrated all the invoices produced on that day directly with the accounting system.

The second version of the Pocket Invoice is based around the corporate edition which does a lot more than just provide an invoice to the customer.  This edition also checks stock availability, has a built-in customer CRM and can provide quotes as well as acquisitions on the field, which is based on real-time transactions and data after being fed directly from head office to the wireless device.  With this wireless technology available to us today there is no reason why field employees are not able to access any type of data that is required for them to complete the job on the go.  With Pocket Invoice, it is not limited to regional sectors but in fact can be used anytime anywhere. This includes having employees outside your state or country. They are still able to complete a transaction of sales anywhere in the world.

The Pocket Invoice was designed to work on all Windows Mobile operating system. Pocket Invoice was tested with all types of PDA's and found it to be successful in integrating with all brands. The only requirement was that the PDA needed the installation of the SQL cab and the.net cab which are available for download from our support page or direct from the Microsoft support site.

  • The client signs the hand held device as proof of delivery, presses submit and the information is sent back to the office in real time. A copy of the Invoice is sent to the client via fax or email immediately from the hand-held.
  • Sales staff out in the field can fax or e-mail clients a copy of the Invoice or quote as soon as they submit the order from the hand held device.
  • Generate a copy of the order or quote back to the office for automated invoicing and accounting into your current office system. (MYOB, Quicken, Attaché etc…).
  • Sales staff out in the field can accept orders, while at the same time checking current inventory levels, product information, product pricing, product availability etc... All this information is available to sales staff while on the move, away from the office.
  • Confidently promise clients products, services, or delivery times without making a single call back to the office, chasing inventory, staff, or looking for paperwork.
