Mi-Bet

Mi-Bet mobility application is an all in one gaming, racing and sports wireless solution which is able to, in real time, collect betting data and is transmitted securely back to the central database. This application has been in development for over two years and has been on trial for over 18 months. The product is now ready for commercialisation and Unicom Solutions have partnered with IBM to produce a stable and highly efficient server which is capable of over one million hits per second.

Mi-Bet is currently being distributed by MBX and has penetrated the global market which has shown a lot of interest in the gaming arena. The application can also be used as a betting exchange which means multiple bookmakers have access to the database and provides the punter with the selection of bookies so they may choose the best odds from the selection of bookies. Mi-Bet is designed to work in both types of environment whether it's an exchange environment or a stand-alone environment.

Mi-Bet has been designed in all types of development platforms such as .net, Java and IBM operating system. Unicom Solutions has made this application so versatile that it can run in any environment across any platform. This was done to ensure that this application is ready for commercialisation anywhere in the world.

The heart of this application and many other applications developed by Unicom Solutions is a unique engine developed by our team that utilises today's wireless technology. The database used is again on multiple platforms such as SQL, my SQL and IBM's DB2. The mobility side of this application is Java based to ensure all types of cellphones, smart phones, PDA and any handheld base phone is able to run the application. We have even managed to produce a non-wireless version to cater for all countries and handsets that do not have access to wireless technology.
